Luis Manzano Talks About His Bed Scene With Vice Ganda in Movie

Luis Manzano admitted he enjoyed playing the role of Vice Ganda’s ex-boyfriend and Toni Gonzaga’s new fiancé in This Guy’s In Love With You, Mare. The 32-year-old actor-host said he could relate to his character Mike. “Siguro yung pagkaka-relate ko sa character ko, ako kasi personally ang dami ko ring pagkakamali bilang lalake. So ganun din role ko, may mgatrust siyang nasira na kahit paano nakaka-relate ako,” he admitted. Luis, who has always been open-minded about showing skin in his past movies, said one of his most unforgettable moments while doing the movie was shooting his bed scene with Vice Ganda. “Kumbaga, kung i-e-establish natin yung career path ko sa paghuhubad, ay yun na nga, inabot na ng bed scene sa amin ni Vice. Sabihin na natin na sa konting tinagal ko sa industriya, nung pauwi na ako, umiyak ako dun sa nangyari (laughs),” he joked. Luis said he enjoyed working with close friends Toni and Vice, as well This Guy’s In Love With You, Mare director Wenn Deramas. “Si Toni kasi nakasama ko na rin sa dalawang serye, Crazy for You at sa Your Song. Pero ngayon pa lang kami nagkasama sa movie. Si Direk Wenn, siya ang unang unang nagpa-arte sa akin kung saan akala ko mag-ho-host lang ako buong buhay ko tapos si direk ang nag-convince sa akin. When it comes to his personal life, Luis said his relationship with girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado is as steady as ever. The actor denied rumors that they broke up recently. “For once and for all, hindi po. Hindi ko alam saan nanggaling yung issue na yun. Walang labuan factor. Nung lumabas yung alam na nating issue, never kaming nagkalabuan. Not even for a single day. So kahit ako nagulat na on the rocks daw kaming dalawa,” he said.
