We’ve seen a fair share of open chest wounds that exposed the beating heart behind a collapsed lung at Best Gore. Examples are this
this Everything’s better in threes so here’s another video of exposed beating heart.
This guy had his ribcage sliced open across most of his chest so the hole is massive. His difficulty breathing with a collapsed lung is typical, as is rapid pulsation of the heart. Unfortunately I do not know how he came across his wound, but it must have been a considerable force to open his chest up like that.
